What we collect

Only what we need for each thing you do with us:

• Contact form: your name, email, company, phone if you give it, what you're interested in, budget and timeline ranges, your message, and how you heard about us.
• Referral links: if you arrive through a partner's link, a cookie remembers that partner for 90 days so they get credit if you get in touch.
• Client portal and app: your name and email, the projects you can see, and a sign-in cookie. Sign-in codes are stored only in scrambled form. Our app also stores a device token so it can send you notifications.
• Purchases: your name, email, and what you bought. Stripe handles your card; we receive only limited details such as the card brand and last four digits.
• Ship It: your progress and check-ins stay in your own browser and are never sent to us. If you buy the course, a cookie remembers that on your device, and when you ask for a sign-in link we look up your purchase with Stripe by email.
• Site visits: Vercel Analytics counts page views and measures speed in aggregate, without advertising cookies.

How we use it

To reply to you, deliver what you bought, run client projects, send the emails a purchase or sign-in needs, keep the site secure, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertisers.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run our business, each under its own privacy and security terms: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Neon (database), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments), and Google Workspace (our email). If you came through a referral partner's link, that partner can see that you got in touch and how the conversation is going. We share information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep contact and client records for as long as we need them to work with you and to meet tax and legal requirements. Ship It progress lives on your device, and you can delete it from the course's journal page at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@mccown.consulting. We will reply within 30 days.

Children

Our site and products are not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. Significant changes are announced on this page.
