How We Work

Our work falls into two areas: helping organizations use AI and modern tools to operate better, and building the custom software that makes complex operations possible. Often, both are part of the same engagement.

AI & Operations

6 to 12 weeks

AI Agent Implementation

Designing and deploying agentic workflows on the modern AI stack. Frontier models like Claude and GPT, tools like Claude Code and MCP, and the engineering rigor these systems require to run reliably in production.

Best for: Teams with a repetitive, judgment-heavy workflow that a person is currently doing by hand.

What's Included

  • Use-case identification and ROI scoping
  • Agent architecture and tool design
  • Frontier model and MCP integration
  • Evaluation, guardrails, and observability
  • Deployment and ongoing iteration
5 days, on site

Full-Week AI Immersion

Five days embedded with your team. We assess current workflows, identify where AI fits naturally, and implement tools with hands-on training. You leave with real systems running, not just a presentation.

Best for: Organizations that have decided to adopt AI and want the rollout done rather than planned.

What's Included

  • In-depth workflow audit
  • Custom tool selection and setup
  • Role-specific training sessions
  • Data privacy and governance framework
  • 30 days of follow-up support
2 days

2-Day Intensive

A focused sprint on one or two high-impact areas. Ideal if you want results fast without a week-long commitment.

Best for: Teams with one specific bottleneck already identified and a short window to fix it.

What's Included

  • Pre-engagement needs assessment
  • Targeted process automation
  • Core team hands-on training
  • Prompt engineering walkthrough
  • Custom AI policy draft
Half day

Executive Workshop

A half-day session designed for leadership teams. Frame your AI strategy, address concerns, and leave with a clear roadmap.

Best for: Leadership teams who need to align on direction before committing budget.

What's Included

  • Strategic overview for decision-makers
  • Risk, ethics, and security considerations
  • Build vs. buy guidance
  • Roadmap and resourcing recommendations
  • Q&A and scenario planning
Monthly or quarterly

Ongoing Advisory

For organizations that want a trusted partner as the AI landscape continues to shift. Monthly or quarterly engagement to keep your strategy grounded in what actually works.

Best for: Companies without a senior technical voice in the room when technology decisions get made.

What's Included

  • Regular strategy calls
  • On-demand troubleshooting
  • New tool and model evaluation
  • Team onboarding support
  • Quarterly impact reviews

Custom Development

3 to 6 months

Custom Platform Builds

Full-stack web applications built for real scale and real complexity. Modern stacks (Next.js, Node, Postgres, AWS), purpose-built architecture, and the discipline to ship something that holds up under production load.

Best for: Operations that have outgrown spreadsheets and the patchwork of tools holding them together.

What's Included

  • Requirements scoping and architecture planning
  • Frontend and backend development
  • Third-party API and integration orchestration
  • Authentication, security, and compliance considerations
  • Staging and production environment setup
3 to 5 months

Mobile App Development

Native iOS and Android applications built with React Native and Expo, sharing a codebase and a backend with your web platform. One team, one set of business logic, three places your customers can reach you. We handle the parts most teams underestimate: app store submission, over-the-air updates, push notifications, and device permissions.

Best for: Products whose users are on their phones, where a mobile browser tab is not good enough.

What's Included

  • iOS and Android from one React Native codebase
  • Shared authentication and data layer with your web app
  • Push notifications and offline-tolerant behavior
  • App Store and Play Store submission handled end to end
  • Over-the-air update pipeline for fixes without a store review
4 to 10 weeks

Systems Integration

Most businesses run on multiple platforms that don't talk to each other. We design and build the connective tissue that makes your stack work as one.

Best for: Teams re-keying the same data into two systems, or reconciling them by hand.

What's Included

  • Audit of existing tools and data flows
  • API integration and webhook architecture
  • Automated data pipelines and sync logic
  • Error handling and operational reliability
  • Documentation for your internal team

Common Questions

How do you price engagements?

Fixed scope, fixed price, agreed before work starts. Workshops and intensives are flat rates. Platform builds are quoted after a short discovery conversation, because a number given before anyone understands the operation is a guess that someone ends up paying for. You will never get an open-ended hourly invoice from us.

How long does a custom platform take?

Most builds run three to six months from kickoff to production, with working software in a real environment well before the end. We ship in increments against a live staging environment rather than disappearing for a quarter and returning with a reveal.

Who owns the code?

You do, completely, including the repository, the infrastructure accounts, and the documentation. There is no licensing arrangement and nothing is held back as leverage. If you decide to take the work in-house or hand it to another firm, everything you need transfers with it.

What happens when the engagement ends?

Transfer is a phase of the work, not an afterthought. We document the system and train your team to run and extend it. Many clients keep us on a light advisory retainer afterward, but that is a choice rather than a dependency we engineered in.

Do you work with companies that have no technical staff?

Often. A large share of our work is for operators who know their business cold and need someone who can translate that into software without making them learn to read a system diagram. We adjust how we communicate to the room we are in.

Can you take over a project someone else started?

Sometimes, and we will tell you honestly which situation you are in. We start with a short audit of the existing codebase and infrastructure. Occasionally the right answer is to continue it, and occasionally the right answer is that continuing costs more than rebuilding. You get the real assessment either way.

Do you build mobile apps as well as web platforms?

Yes, and usually together. We build iOS and Android from one React Native codebase that shares its backend and business logic with the web platform, so a change is made once rather than three times. We handle app store submission and the update pipeline as part of the engagement.

How does an AI engagement differ from AI consulting elsewhere?

We implement rather than recommend. A workshop ends with tools configured and running in your environment, not a slide deck of possibilities. We use these systems every day to ship production software, so what we put in front of your team is what we already trust ourselves.

Not sure where to start?

That's completely normal. We're happy to talk through what makes sense for your situation, no pressure and no commitment.
