The Challenge
Pharmacies in this space typically run on a stack that was never designed to work together: one tool for prescriber intake, another for patient communication, a third for fulfillment, and a spreadsheet holding the seams. Every handoff between them is a place for an order to stall silently, and three different groups of people need three genuinely different views of the same prescription.
Our Approach
We modeled the roles first. A provider, a patient, and an administrator each get an interface built for what they actually do, but all three read and write the same records, so nothing has to be reconciled after the fact. Permissions are enforced at the data layer rather than by hiding buttons, which is what makes a multi-role system safe to hand to people outside your organization.
